DANCEPL3Y Preschool Online Training "Add-On" Module
This course is designed for individuals who have attended a DANCEPL3Y Kids course and are familiar with the 5 Key Areas of DANCEPL3Y - Culture, Structure, Choreography, Coaching and Community.
In this online add-on module, you'll learn how to adapt the DANCEPL3Y Introduction and Wrap Up to meet the needs of younger movers ages 3-5!
You'll also learn new songs and moves to music that was specifically designed by Nathan Short and Melanie Levenberg to develop physical literacy through dance.
BONUS! The music downloads for the Preschool Program Core Playlist (10 songs) are **included** in the purchase of this course!*
In order to complete your course and become a Certified DANCEPL3Y Preschool Program provider, you must submit a video of yourself leading all 10 songs from the Core Playlist to a group of children ages 3-5. Following your successful practicum assessment, you'll be eligible to become a licensed DANCEPL3Y Preschool Program provider through our Engineers of Awesome Membership Program. Membership fees range depending on your current status as a Certified DANCEPL3Y Instructor and type of membership you hold. Memberships start at only $99/year.
About the DANCEPL3Y Preschool Program Building the foundations for dance through rhythms, fundamental movement skills and playful group formations, young movers will discover a love of dance as they leap, hop, crawl, turn, spin and jump into their “Bubble of Awesome”. DANCEPL3Y Preschool allows children ages 3-5 to discover dance in a playful and interACTIVE way through creative story lines and music that MOVES them.
Melanie G Levenberg is an author, international speaker, TEDx presenter and holds a Masters of Education in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. As the Chief PLAY Officer at PL3Y Inc. she specializes in building local leaders who are passionate about physical literacy and inspiring kids to be healthier, happier humans.
Melanie is an engaging and inspiring keynote speaker and workshop leader who travels the world to help teachers infuse more positivity and playfulness in their pedagogy. She has worked with corporate, private and not-for-profit organizations to design and deliver innovative physical literacy programs, workshops, retreats and trainings.
